Children always come first at Sunny Skies Preschool.  Here, the development of the whole child is our main goal, along with their safety and well being in order to create individuals who are independent, intellectually advanced, sociable and thoughtful of the world around them.

Children aged 3.5 to 6 years old enjoy classrooms that are conducive to learning and foster creativity in diverse ways.  Math, Science, History, Language Arts and Geography are taught in an age-appropriate scale alongside dancing, music and artistic expression.  As a result we are pleased to say that many of the children who attend our center go on to get excellent scores in many City-administered tests, including the gifted and talented exam.

With four classrooms, a play room/therapy room, kitchenette, office and parent’s lounge, our center has something for everyone.  We have staffed, developed, furnished and supplied the school with nothing but the best in order to ensure the proper learning environment of the children here.  Since Sunny Skies Preschool #2, which offers preschool and daycare/childcare and Kindergarten services is located directly across a playground, we take full advantage of that and use it to the max, allowing the children to develop in the gross motor area while enjoying the extensive but fun-filled curriculum that has become a benchmark for us.

As it has become tradition with us, our staff is qualified and trained in CPR/First Aid, child abuse and maltreatment, infectious disease control, Music and movement and reading readiness.  Although not mandatory by code that all staff must have all these courses, we have made it mandatory at Sunny Skies Preschool in order to maintain the best quality of care possible.
